Festival regulations
I. General provisions
1.1. This regulation defines the goals, objectives, terms, procedure for organizing and conducting the International Tourism Film Festival “Wonder of the World” (hereinafter referred to as the Competition).
1.2. Organizers of the competition: the organizing committee of the International Tourism Festival-Competition of Video, Photo and Animation “Wonder of Eurasia” and the International Tourism League of Experts “Eurasia”.
1.2.1. Establish the terms and rules of the Competition;
1.2.2. The Expert Council of the competition is appointed.
1.3. The competition will be held in 2024 in several stages. The location of each stage (final) will be published on this website. The deadline for submitting applications and video projects is one month before the start of each stage of the 2024 competition.
1.4. For each individual stage (final) of the 2024 competition, you can submit both the same and new videos. Videos presented throughout the year may also be improved and modified.
1.5. During the competition, both the winners and prize-winners of each stage (finals) of the competition, as well as the absolute winners of the competition based on the results of all individual stages (finals) of the competition for a given year, are determined.
1.6. The organizers of the Competition reserve the right to make changes and additions on all issues related to the preparation and conduct of the Competition.
1.7. Participation in the competition is free if the project is defended in person in the final.
1.8. The results of the competition are published on the official website of the competition - www.divo.su and the Internet resources of our partners


II. Goals and objectives of the competition
2.1. Supporting initiatives that help improve the tourist and investment attractiveness of territories and objects of the tourism industry, promoting the development of inbound tourism, creating a data bank on tourism projects, routes, objects and places in different countries of the world.
2.2. Assisting the population of countries around the world in choosing the most attractive tourist routes, objects and places in Russia and other countries of the world.
2.3. Creation of open information and communication platforms for the exchange of experience and organization of interaction of all interested persons and organizations in the field of international tourism development.
2.4. Promotion of tourism projects, routes, objects and places, attracting media attention to the prospects for tourism development, the rich and unique natural, recreational, cultural and historical heritage of the countries of the world.
2.5. Identification of interesting, creative tourism projects, routes, objects and places in various tourist destinations, identification, popularization of tourism industry objects and their promotion. Creating conditions for the formation of new, development and popularization of existing and little-known tourist routes, events, objects and places, as well as stimulating their development.
2.6. Comprehensive education and acquaintance of the guests of the International Competition with the natural, cultural and historical riches of different countries of the world.
2.7. Encouraging creative and social activity of persons involved in the development of international tourism on our planet.
2.8. Increasing the competitiveness of tourist routes, objects and places around the world. Based on the materials submitted to the Competition, trends in the development of the tourism industry will be analyzed and clarified, promising tourist routes, objects and places for their subsequent promotion will be identified.

The organizers of the competition set themselves the task of collecting more complete information about the tourism potential of the countries of the world and in the future creating a tourist guide in the form of a mobile application and online publication, as well as their distribution.

III. Requirements and conditions for participation in the Competition
3.1. Representatives of the tourism, hotel, health resort and related industries from all regions of the world are invited to participate in the Competition, provided they submit applications in Russian or English (with explanatory text in Russian).
3.2. Video projects created no earlier than 2022 can take part in the International Individual Competition “Wonder of the World”, and in the team competition - no earlier than 2020. Members of the Expert Council do not have the right to submit their projects for participation in the competition.
3.3. Applications corresponding to the theme of the Competition are accepted for the Competition. All materials submitted to the Competition (films, videos, animation, slide shows, photographs, applications, etc.) must be submitted in Russian or English.
3.4. Participants of the Competition send their materials and application to the e-mail address of the competition organizers: divomira@bk.ru with the note International personal-team tourism competition of vertical videos “Wonder of the World”:
- application for participation in the Competition (the form can be downloaded on this website);
- competition videos must be sent via a file hosting service (Yandex Drive or Google Drive).
In an individual competition, a new video can only be submitted in vertical format (shot on a smartphone).

Video format MP4, MPEG, AVI and others supported by YouTube.com video hosting.

Materials are sent by email, which contains a link to one of two file hosting services (Yandex drive, Google drive).
Materials are not accepted through other file hosting services.

3.5. All projects can be presented in two sections (team and individual competition), in one format - vertical video, in different categories and nominations. (You can submit applications for the individual competition for videos created no earlier than 2022):

3.5.1. Section No. 1 (individual competition of videos created during the competition itself):
3.5.1.1. Format: Portrait video (approx. 9:16 aspect ratio)

In each of the two nominations, the participant prepares a video from personally filmed materials at the venue of the final (stage) of the competition. The exact topic in each category will be announced 1 day before the start of the competition. The created video is provided to the jury members on the day preceding the announcement of the competition results no later than 24:00 local time.

3.5.2. Section No. 2 (individual competition for videos created no earlier than 2022):
3.5.2.1. Format: Video in vertical format (9:16 aspect ratio) - only for new videos,
3.5.2.2. Categories:
  • Short videos (up to 15, 30 and 60 sec)
  • Brand/image tourism videos (up to 3 minutes)
  • Short films (up to 15 minutes)
3.5.2.3. Nominations and subnominations:
1) Tourist destinations:
  • Cities;
  • Regions;
  • Countries;
  • Locations.
2) Nature and ecotourism:
  • Rural tourism and agritourism
  • Natural areas
  • Natural attractions
3) Tourism products:
  • Cultural tourism;
  • Health tourism;
  • Gastronomic tourism;
  • Ecotourism;
  • Educational tourism;
  • Religious tourism;
  • Military tourism;
  • Event tourism;
  • Medical tourism;
  • Industrial tourism;
  • Ethnic tourism (including legends and myths):
4) Travel services:
  • Accommodation (resorts, motels, hotels, villas, boutique hotels, guest houses, campsites, etc.)
  • Organization of holidays, safaris, etc.;
  • Tour operator services and excursions;
  • Transport companies (car rentals, airlines, limousines, ferries, railways, cruises)
  • Other tourism services (children's tourism, youth tourism, accessible tourism for people with disabilities);
  • DMC (video games) and video clips;
  • Sports and adventure travel (sailing, sea sports, diving, surfing, hiking, skiing, cycling). Outdoor activities, extreme sports.

3.5.3. Section No. 3 (team competition of videos created no earlier than 2020):
  • 3.5.1.1. Format: Videos of any format (at least 2, united by a common idea)
  • 3.5.1.2. Categories:
Videos (2-4, the total number should not exceed 5 minutes)

3.5.1.3. Nominations:
  • Countries of the world
  • Regions of the world
  • Cities of the world
  • Municipal areas of the world
  • Selected locations (locations) countries around the world
  • Selected travel events around the world
  • Selected tourist routes around the world
  • Selected tourist souvenirs around the world
In each nomination, the participant presents 2-4 videos interconnected by their concept (idea) from 9 possible options: 1.tourist destination (country, region, city, district, location), 2.cultural tourism (iconic attractions), 3. event tourism, 4.ethnic tourism or legend, 5.educational and business tourism, 6.sports and adventure tourism, 7.ecological tourism, 8.rural tourism, 9.medical and health tourism. Ideally, all videos should complement each other and attractively present a given destination or tourist site, as well as motivate tourists to visit them or learn more about them.

Section 3.5.4. Photographs (individual competition of photographs created at the competition itself)
Categories:
  • photo report about the location of the competition (up to 10 photos + short explanatory text up to 1000 characters)
  • slideshow of photographs about the location of the competition (up to 1 minute)
In each of the two nominations, the participant prepares a video from personally filmed materials at the venue of the final (stage) of the competition. 3.6. The participant is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and compliance with copyright laws.
3.7. Documentation submitted by the applicant for the Competition will not be returned. Its return can only be made if the application is withdrawn.
3.8. Denial of admission to participate in the Competition is possible in the event of late submission of competition materials and detection of inaccurate information in them, as well as non-compliance with the Regulations on the Competition.
3.9. The participant bears the costs of participating in the face-to-face stages of the competition (travel, food, accommodation) independently.
3.10. To inform the public about the Competition
The organizer reserves the right to use materials sent by participants for the competition on its websites, video channels, social networks and partner media:
official websites of the Competition www.divo.su and www.divoru.ru;
video channels of organizers on YouTube.com, Yandex Zen and others
in social networks;
on the websites of information partners of the Competition.
In this case, the project name and region (or country) are indicated.
At the end of the video or film, the authors/owners of the video can put their own logo and a list of video authors.

IV. Project evaluation.
Determining the winners of the competition and awarding them.
4.1. The evaluation of projects submitted to the Competition is carried out in 2 stages:
4.1.1. Selection of the best projects to participate in the finals: competitive projects submitted by the participants of the Competition are reviewed by the Expert Council. In the process of reviewing and selecting submitted materials, the finalists of the Competition are determined and are admitted to the next stage of the Competition.
4.1.2. In the final, the works are evaluated by the expert jury of the competition based on the presented video, a brief explanation of the project by the competition participants (1-2 minutes) and answers to questions from experts.
Preference will be given to the most vibrant, thematically filled, interesting in content projects with a creative approach, as well as compliance with professional and ethical standards. Projects are selected for the finals from any country that submitted applications in Russian or English (with a separate explanatory text in Russian in the application or video). Based on the results of the competition, the winners and prize-winners of the competition are determined.
4.1.3. The decision of the Expert Council is documented in a protocol and signed by the Chairman of the Expert Council.
4.2. The winners of the competition are awarded diplomas and cups.
4.3. Participants of the Competition who did not take 1st, 2nd and 3rd places are awarded a final participant diploma.
4.4. Additional awards for winners and finalists from partners of the festival-competition are possible.

V. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1. By taking part in the Competition, the participant guarantees that:
5.1.1. He is the legal owner of the materials submitted to the Competition and has exclusive rights in relation to them;
5.1.2. In the event of claims against the Organizer from third parties regarding the use of information, it undertakes to independently and at its own expense resolve all disputes with the persons making these claims;
5.1.3. If third parties in court or otherwise challenge the Organizer’s right to use information, the participant is obliged to take part in the proceedings on the Organizer’s side and prove the legality of the Organizer’s use of information;
5.1.6. If the participant cannot prove the legality of the use and disposal of information, and the Organizer is liable, the participant is obliged to reimburse the Organizer for expenses within 10 (ten) calendar days from the date of entry into force of the decision of the court and/or other body considering the dispute, for legal costs, the amount , which is recovered from the Organizer in favor of a third party, other costs associated with the legal proceedings.
5.2. In the event of claims against the Organizer from owners of copyright and/or related rights, their authorized representatives or third parties regarding the use of information by the Organizer, the participant undertakes, at his own expense, to resolve all controversial issues with third parties who have made relevant claims.
5.3. By participating in the Competition, the participant grants the Organizer the right to reproduce, copy, publish, demonstrate (public) displays, as well as communicate to the public by any means, including broadcast and cable television, posting on the Internet (publication), including social networks, materials presented on Competition (non-exclusive license). This license is granted by the participant to use information by the Organizer in any way not prohibited by the legislation of the Russian Federation, including through:
- display during the Competition and on special online channels;
- publications in information and advertising materials of the Competition organizers;
- publications in print and electronic media;
- storage of information submitted for participation in the Competition in its archives (in electronic or other format) for five years from the date of the Competition;
- posting information on the websites of the organizers of the Competition (bringing it to the public);
- use of information for photo or video albums, information booklets, digital media and other products, including souvenirs.

VI. Final provisions
6.1. Participation in the Competition (the fact of sending an application and video materials to the Competition) means:
6.1.1. Full and unconditional acceptance by the participant of the terms and rules of the Competition established by the Organizer, and agreement with the requirements established by the Organizer for participation in the Competition;
6.1.2. Acceptance by the participant of the obligation to comply with the terms and rules of the Competition established by the Organizer;
6.1.3. Consent to the storage and processing of personal data of participants in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on personal data.
6.2. Violation of the requirements for participation in the Competition established by the Organizer is grounds for refusal to accept them for consideration.
6.3. The decisions of the Expert Council are final and not subject to revision.
6.4. The competition organizer does not comment on the grounds and reasons for the decisions of the Expert Council.
6.5. When processing personal data of Competition participants, the Competition Organizer is guided by the Federal Law of July 27, 2006 No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”.
